**Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

**Must-Have:** Successful completion of a proctored rhythm test

**Job Description:**

- Provide care in a 36-bed Cardiovascular Unit catering to Cardiac and Neuro Stepdown patients.
- Responsibilities include cardiac bedside monitoring, managing cardiac drips, handling TR bands, and caring for post-heart caths and stroke/neuro patients, as well as BIPAP overflows.
- Care for patients ranging from young adults to late adults (ages 18-60+).
- Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6.
- Work within a variable staffing grid that includes Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Patient Care Technicians (PCTs), and Nurse Interns (NIs).
- The RN is responsible for all patients in their assigned team, ensuring quality patient care.
