**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:** 2+ years of recent experience in MICU/ICU
**License:** Registered Nurse License
**Certifications:** Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
**Must-Have:**
- Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips
- Telemetry test required on day one
**Job Description:**
- Independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips
- Perform radial artery sticks and administer continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT)
- Blood draws and intravenous (IV) skills required
- Work with patients experiencing respiratory failure, renal disease, alcohol withdrawal, sepsis, respiratory and cardiac arrest, and gastrointestinal bleeds
- Maintain an average patient ratio of 1:2 in a 17-bed unit
**Preferred Experience:**
- Certification in Critical Care Nursing (CCRN)
- Ability to perform blood draws and proficient IV skills
