**Guaranteed Hours:** 40.00 hours per week
**Experience:** Two years of experience in Cardiology/Cath Lab preferred
**License:** Registered ARRT or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist (RCIS) required within 18 months of hire, or Registered Respiratory Therapist with CV specific certification or RCIS or RCES required
**Certifications:** BLS and ACLS certifications endorsed by the American Heart Association; Fluoroscopy Certification
**Must-Have:** English proficiency (Speak, Read, Write); Radiation badges supplied by vendor

**Job Description:**

- Provide technical support in the cardiac catheterization laboratory during invasive cardiovascular procedures.
- Assist physicians in radiological imaging of cardiac and vascular procedures and act as a scrub assistant, maintaining sterile conditions during clinical procedures.
- Operate imaging equipment and work in the control room monitoring and documenting procedure images and events.
- Educate patients and families regarding the procedure and expected outcomes, including pre and post-procedure physical conditions.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the unit, ensuring appropriate stock levels for complex interventions and diagnostic procedures.
- Complete daily, progress, and discharge documentation according to departmental standards, accurately documenting productivity information.
- Participate in quality and patient safety initiatives; identify potential areas for process improvement to enhance patient satisfaction and safety.
- Promote the mission, vision, and values of the health organization, adhering to service behavior standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
