**Job Title:** Surgical Technologist

**Shift:** Day - 4x8 - 7am - 3pm

**Guaranteed Hours:** 32 hours per week

**Experience:** Minimum 3 years

**License:** Required to submit

**Certifications:** BLS, Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Verification, UAP

**Must-Have:**
- Proficiency in Ortho/Neuro OR or General/Robotics
- Experience with Open bellies, GYN, Davinci Xi for general, and Endoscopic procedures

**Job Description:**

- Work in a department with 12 OR suites, 1 Endo Suite, and 1 Cysto Suite.
- Common cases involve Peds-Geriatrics, cysto, Da Vinci XI for General/GYN/Urology, ION robotic cases, Open Bellies, and GI experience, with scope experience refresher available.
- Charge Nurse is present for all shifts; manager available until 4 pm Monday-Friday.
- Rotating 8-hour shifts with occasional weekend and holiday work.
- 15-minute call response time required, with sleep room available for post-call recovery.
- Willingness to float to cross-train to other specialties or serve as a 1:1 sitter, as needed.
- Scrub color provided by the department.
- Engage in a team-oriented, family atmosphere environment.
- Must be willing to engage in extra hours for 1:1 sitting duties if necessary.
- Utilize EPIC charting system in a Level 2 trauma acute care setting.

**Shift Notes:**
- Scheduled 40 hours per week with 8-hour shifts Monday-Friday.
- Call once or twice per week, and occasional shifts on Saturdays or Sundays.
- Weekend call coverage approximately every 4th or 5th weekend.

**Additional Notes:**
- Must adhere to a 50-mile radius requirement and disclose availability for full-time, part-time, or PRN positions.
- RTO must be submitted upfront, limited to 7 or fewer days per contract period.
