**Job Title:** MRI Technologist

**Job Specialty:** Diagnostic Imaging

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks

**Shift:** Thursday/Friday 9:30 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.; Saturday 7:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m., with on-call responsibilities

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week

**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years of recent MRI experience in an in-house acute care setting

**License:** Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program, or MRI accredited program

**Certifications:**
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association (AHA) required
- ARRT (R) or ARMRIT required
- ARRT (MR) Registry preferred

**Must-Have:**
- Significant experience using newer GE scanner platforms
- Cardiac MRI experience highly desirable
- Pediatric experience is a plus
- EPIC experience preferred
- Ability to scan independently and facilitate patient throughput
- Permanent address greater than 100 miles from the facility due to safety-sensitive position

**Job Description:**
- Perform MRI procedures on both pediatric and adult critically ill patients.
- Work independently as well as collaboratively with another technologist or an imaging assistant.
- Conduct a variety of neurological, gastrointestinal, and orthopedic MRI studies.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during MRI procedures.
- Manage multiple procedures per shift efficiently.
- Maintain necessary documentation and patient records.
- Comply with organizational safety guidelines, especially those regarding safety-sensitive positions.
