Job Details:
  • Coverage: Ongoing
  • Details: 24 hour STEMI call coverage 7a-7a Sporadic dates need
  • Looking for a provider to start as soon as credentialing (2-3 weeks)
  • Setting: Inpatient, Call, Emergency Room Level 4 Trauma
  • Positions Open: 1
  • Required Procedures/Job Duties: Left and right heart caths, coronary angioplasty/stents, balloon pump/impella, transesophael Echo, pacemakers.
  • Call: STEMI & General Cardiology
  • EMR: EPIC
  • Support Staff: Echo Tech, Lab Tech, RN, X-ray Tech, Nuclear Tech
  • EMR Required Training: Module (learn lessons) – Must be completed prior to virtual EMR training to attend the training.
  • EMR Virtual training – Only able to attend if Modules are completed before training. Virtual training must be completed prior to the providers first day.
  • Travel Preferences: Preferred Lodging: Preferred hotels; Air Travel: Air Travel - Okay. Please detail any anticipated travel exceptions, for example a dietary restriction necessitating specific lodging situations. Travel exception requests will be denied if this information is not part of the provider presentation.
  • Credentialing Information: 2- 3 weeks
  • Credentialing with other facilities? No
  • Billing enrollment - Is this position providing services in lieu of an existing enrolled provider for a period of 60 days or less?: Yes

Requirements:
  • Active Unrestricted UT License – Required
  • Board Certified Interventional Cardiology – Required
  • Active BLS - Required for Credentialing
  • Active DEA - Required for credentialing (site will consider a transferred DEA, however, must keep this DEA for the duration of the assignment, not just for shifts worked.)
  • Must acknowledge candidate understands the EMR training requirements set forth in job description and will complete in this order to avoid missing their start date
  • Clean Malpractice/background - Highly preferred - case by case –
  • Must include self inquiry NPDB report at presentation
