**Job Specialty:** Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
**Job Duration:** 13 weeks
**Shift:** Night 3x12-Hour (17:30 - 06:00)
**Guaranteed Hours:** Client may call off up to 36 hours per thirteen-week assignment
**Experience:** Minimum 3 years' experience required
**License:** Must have state license
**Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, NRP, CRT also accepted
**Must-Have:**
- Experience in Adult Critical Care, Emergency Department
- Cerner experience required
**Job Description:**
- Work in a 25-bed critical access, magnet hospital
- Handle airway management devices and suctioning, including endotracheal tubes, extubation, intubation assist, nasal and oral airway placements, and tracheostomy care
- Provide patient care for those suffering from ARDS, Aspiration, COVID-19, and Pneumonia
- Administer medications such as Albuterol, Atrovent, inhaled steroids, and others
- Employ medication delivery systems appropriately, including aerosol setups and nebulizer skills
- Conduct oxygen therapy using various techniques like bag and mask, ET Tube, and others
- Manage and troubleshoot ventilators, including BiPAP, CPAP, and IMV, and assist in weaning from mechanical ventilation
- Interpret ABGs and perform basic EKG readings and chest physiotherapy
- Rotate shifts with weekend work required every other weekend
- May float within the hospital or to nearby affiliated hospitals as needed
- Engage in a collaborative work environment and demonstrate strong professional knowledge and skills
