**Job Title:** Neurointerventional Registered Nurse

**Job Specialty:** Neurology, Neurology ICU, Critical Care, Interventional Radiology, Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks

**Shift:** 4-10s (Monday - Friday) 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM; Call is roughly 9 to 11 days per month. Weekday call from 5:30 PM.

**Guaranteed Hours:** 40 hours per week

**Experience:** Minimum 2 years of experience in medium to large-sized facilities with high acuity patient flow. Experience in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable: Neuro Cath Lab, Neuro Interventional Radiology, Cath Lab, Neuro, Critical Care, Emergency Department, or other related high acuity settings.

**License:** Registered Nurse

**Certifications:** ACLS, BLS (both AHA), NIHS

**Must-Have:**
- Experience with EPIC system is highly preferred.
- Required to float to Cath Lab if needed.
- Successful completion of medication, basic dysrhythmia, and hemodynamic monitoring tests during orientation.

**Job Description:**
- Administer conscious sedation and monitor patients’ conditions, labs, medication access, and medications.
- Set up and maintain a sterile field during procedures.
- Assist during procedures using various equipment and troubleshoot hemodynamic monitoring systems.
- Utilize Phillips XR equipment in the Neuro Interventional suite.
- Collaborate with a team consisting of a physician, technologist, and XR techs; manage 1-2 cases per day performing catheter-based angiography to treat various neurologic abnormalities (adult and pediatric populations).
- May include working with COVID-19 patient population.
- Position is identified as safety sensitive under relevant medical regulations.
