Job Title: Registered Nurse - Cath Lab

Job Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Duration: 14 weeks

Shift: Day, 5x8 Hr

Guaranteed Hours: 40.00 per week

Experience: Minimum years of experience required

License: Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice

Certifications: BLS - American Heart Association

Must-Have:

- ASN from an accredited School of Nursing
- Ability to perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions
- Proficient in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care
- Experience in health teaching and counseling
- Skilled in providing therapy and treatment
- Ability to review and monitor therapy and treatment plans
- Proficient in documenting according to hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Ability to promote mission, vision, and values of the organization
- Flexibility to float to other departments as needed

Job Description:

- Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care while evaluating health status through ongoing collection and assessment of health data
- Provide health teaching and counseling, as well as therapy and treatment that is supportive and restorative
- Execute delegated medical functions and refer patients as necessary for further evaluation or treatment
- Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans while documenting in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Use resources as needed and promote mission, vision, and values of the organization
- Perform other duties as assigned and may be required to float to other departments based on business needs
- Maintain current license as a Registered Nurse and BLS certification, with additional certifications preferred
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required, with a Bachelor's Degree of Nursing preferred.
