**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN)

**Job Duration:** 13 Weeks

**Shift:** 12 Hour Days, Every 4th Weekend

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 Hours per Week

**Experience:** Minimum 2 Years

**License:** Required

**Certifications:** ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, BLS, NRP

**Must-Have:**
- Experience in Antepartum with Magnesium drips, L&D, receiving baby in C-Section, recovery of post C-Section, nursery baby stable on vapotherm, healthy couplet care.
- Ability to function in L&D and couplet care.

**Job Description:**
- Perform nursing duties and responsibilities in the Labor and Delivery unit.
- Provide care for antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients.
- Conduct assessments and apply your expertise in managing and monitoring labor and delivery processes.
- Handle recovery processes for post C-Section patients.
- Support healthy couplet care with appropriate ratios for patient groups.
- Collaborate with support staff, including house supervisors and respiratory therapists, during C-Sections when required.
- Utilize Cerner Community Works charting system.
- Work collaboratively with nurse managers and physicians as needed.
- Adhere to all clinical guidelines and hospital protocols.

**Unit Details:**
- L&D Room: 4 beds
- Triage Room: 2 beds
- Postpartum Room: 5 beds
- Births: 1-3 per day, approximately 480 per year
- Typical Patient Ratios: Labor patients 1:2, unstable antepartum 1:1, stable antepartum 2:1, couplet care 3:1

**Note:** Orientation begins every Monday with no floating requirement or on-call duties.
