**Job Description:**

- Assist cardiologists in performing invasive coronary, vascular, and electrophysiologic diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Set up and operate electrical and imaging equipment and computers.
- Display good judgment and problem-solving skills; organize and prioritize performance based on procedural findings.
- Advocate for patient needs and collaborate with a team for optimal patient care.
- Perform hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation using automated techniques.
- Operate monophasic and biphasic defibrillators effectively.
- Communicate and educate patients during procedures to alleviate anxiety and ensure focused care.
- Collaborate with research coordinators in carrying out laboratory-based research.
- Maintain aseptic technique; prepare sterile fields and instruments for sterilization.
- Monitor and evaluate equipment for performance and safety on a daily basis.
- Manage digital archiving systems for safe storage of patient images and reports.
- Report equipment or supply malfunctions promptly to ensure patient safety.
- Demonstrate knowledge to troubleshoot and problem-solve equipment issues.
- Accurately interpret EKGs and alert physicians of any irregular activity.
- Suggest equipment or procedural changes necessary for quality patient care.
- Provide care following guidelines, policies, procedures, and standards of care.
- Maintain multicultural sensitivity and excellent communication skills for effective interactions.
