Must-Have:
- Strongly preferred scrub experience
- Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs
- Willingness to work up to 4 call shifts every 4 weeks
- Availability for up to one working weekend shift every 4 weeks
Job Description:
- Work as an Operating Room RN in a level-one, academic trauma center with 21 OR suites covering various surgical specialties.
- Collaborate with a nursing team comprising 75% Registered Nurses and 25% Certified Surgical Technologists.
- Perform both scrubbing and circulating duties during surgical procedures.
- Adhere to Magnet designated department standards and provide cutting-edge technology to patients.
- Maintain EPIC charting and ensure compliance with the facility's protocols and procedures.
- Prioritize patient care and safety while assisting in Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics surgeries.
- Follow facility guidelines for call shifts, weekend shifts, floating requirements, and block schedule accommodations.
- Coordinate closely with the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
