**Job Title:** Cath Lab Technologist

**Experience:** Minimum 2 years' experience required, including 1 year in a cardiac cath lab.

**License:** Active IL State License required.

**Certifications:** ACLS, ARRT, BLS

**Must-Have:**
- Experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath labs
- Experience with a variety of cardiac procedures and vascular studies
- Ability to float within the scope to meet facility needs
- Familiarity with Cerner charting system

**Job Description:**
- Perform cardiac procedures such as ASD Closures, Cardiac Stent Placement, and Diagnostic Catheterizations.
- Provide hemodynamic monitoring and manage IABP, Impella, and Ventricular Assist Device insertions and removals.
- Conduct Electrophysiology Studies, including Arrhythmia Induction and Cardioversion.
- Execute Vascular Studies and procedures such as Angioplasty, Carotid Stenting, and Thrombolysis/Thrombectomy.
- Handle Central Venous Access including non-Tunneled/PICC lines and Tunneled Ports.
- Operate and maintain essential equipment such as Fluoroscopy and ultrasound devices.
- Perform accurate monitoring, equipment setup, sterile field maintenance, and vascular closure systems operation.
- Recognize life-threatening arrhythmias and participate as a rapid response team member.
- Adhere to isolation precautions and institutional safety protocols.
- Participate in 16 hours of orientation before commencing the role.
- Participate in on-call duties one night per week and every fourth weekend.
- Work in an acute care setting with approximately 372 staffed beds and comply with provided uniform guidelines.

This role requires the flexibility to accommodate block scheduling and cope with the facility's floating requirements, while handling a caseload with an average daily census of 12.
