**Shift:** 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week

**Experience:** Minimum 2 years of experience in Pediatrics AND PICU

**License:** Compact or IN RN license

**Certifications:** BLS (through AHA), PALS (through AHA)

**Must-Have:**
- Experience in a facility with 400+ beds and Level 2 trauma
- EPIC system proficiency

**Job Description:**

- Provide care for pediatric patients aged 3 days to 18 years with common childhood illnesses, including COVID-positive cases.
- Handle PICU responsibilities including respiratory issues, traumas, donations, seizures, and poisonings. (Note: Highly specialized cardiac cases are sent out, no burns)
- Address pediatric trauma, respiratory conditions, RSV, general surgeries, and birth defects within the unit. Complex surgeries are referred elsewhere.
- Utilize EPIC computerized charting and Pyxis medication systems.
- Candidates should possess exemplary IV skills.
- Participate in a comprehensive orientation including 24 hours on the floor with a preceptor.
- Required to work three 12-hour shifts per week, with potential for overtime.
- Will float to NICU and other related units as necessary.
- Adhere to a dress code of Caribbean blue scrubs.
- Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4 in Peds and 1:2 in PICU.
