**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

**Job Specialty:** ICU

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks

**Shift:** Day/Night Rotating, 12-hour shifts with every other weekend and holiday

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week

**Experience:** Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience in a large hospital with over 200 beds and level 1 trauma capability

**License:** ND or compact state RN License

**Certifications:**
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
- NIHSS (must be obtained prior to start if not already certified)

**Must-Have:**
- Proficient in EPIC EMR
- Ability to titrate drips
- Comfortable floating to Intermediate ICU and assisting in Med-Surg units as needed

**Job Description:**
- Manage 1-2 critically ill patients, including those with medical and surgical needs, with a focus on renal and bone marrow transplant, as well as oncology patients.
- Administer and manage vasopressors, sedatives, analgesics, inotropics, antiarrhythmics, and other titratable drips.
- Assist with bedside procedures such as Rapid Sequence Intubation (RSI), tracheostomy, line placement, and other diagnostic tests.
- Utilize equipment such as EPIC EMR, Omnicell Automated Dispensing Cabinet, Aleris IV pumps, MOOG Feeding pumps, Phillips Patient Monitoring Systems, AvaSure patient monitoring, Hamilton Ventilator, and Hamilton V60 BiPAP.

**Additional Information:**
- Orientation includes 32 hours spread across hospital orientation, ICU, and Intermediate ICU, all completed in the first week.
