**License:** Current state licensure required

**Certifications:** Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in Radiologic Technology and CT; BLS required

**Must-Have:** Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or an accepted equivalent

**Job Description:**

- Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures using state-of-the-art computerized diagnostic imaging equipment.
- Provide support for other imaging technologists as needed.
- Demonstrate competency with initiating and maintaining intravenous (IV) access and using high-speed, pressurized injection equipment.
- Evaluate patients for clinical contrast history and identify any contraindications.
- Adhere to established section and organizational protocols, quality assurance guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Interact appropriately with patients and all care providers, coordinating and prioritizing procedures to maintain a high level of patient care and continuity.
- Exhibit the ability and willingness to rotate within departments and clinics for proper coverage.
- Assist Radiologists in invasive and biopsy procedures using CT equipment for precise anatomical localization.
- Ensure that exam rooms are neat, clean, and adequately stocked before exams and comply with Infection Control standards.
- Ensure all charges are correctly coded and entered.
- Adapt assigned patient assessment, treatment, and care methods to accommodate the unique requirements of each patient served.
- Perform all duties in a manner that maintains the confidentiality of patients, disclosing information only as necessary for job duties.
