**Experience:** Minimum 2-3 years experience in Progressive/Acute ER

**License:** Valid RN license or Compact RN license required at time of submission

**Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, PALS

**Must-Have:** First-time travelers are welcome, but must have 2-3 years of experience in Progressive/Acute ER

**Job Description:**
- ER RN - Nights, option of working 36 or 48-hour weeks
- Any hours worked over 48 in a 48-hour contract are considered extra
- One requested time off (RTO) allowed per contract
- Float requirement includes MS/ICU or IMC units
- Work every other weekend; a minimum of 3 weekends in a 6-week schedule
- Patients include medical surgical, respiratory, GI/GU, cardiac, neuro, minor trauma, OB/GYN, integumentary, and initial medical care for strokes, STEMIs, major trauma, and pediatrics prior to transfer
- Potential to care for NICU patients under 11 weeks
- Unit involves special procedures such as chest tubes, thoracentesis, paracentesis, RSI, splinting, procedural sedation, restraints, vacuum D&C, central lines, and US-guided IVs
- Special equipment includes rapid infuser, EZ IO, Lifepack 15 and 20, GE monitors, GE EKG, and Glidescope
- Night staffing similar to days unless specified otherwise
- Scrub color: Any color, no logos
- Modules completed onsite during orientation, ranging RN average 4-6 hours, Allied 2-3 hours

**Additional Information:**
- Travelers expected to float to like units within their scope as needed based on facility needs
- Brief unit orientation provided for travelers
- Module hours are billed and completed on-site during orientation.
