Travel Nurse RN

**Shift:** 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:** Minimum 2 years of experience, Emergency Department experience preferred
**License:**
- Current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner in the state of practice or if residing in a National License Compact state, must meet the licensure requirements in the home state.
**Certifications:**
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers as per American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) required within 45 days
**Must-Have:** Must have Emergency Department experience and certifications as listed above.
**Job Description:**
- Collect data pertinent to the healthcare consumer's health or situation.
- Analyze assessment data to determine actual or potential diagnoses, problems, and issues.
- Identify expected outcomes for an individualized plan for the healthcare consumer or situation.
- Develop a plan with strategies to achieve expected, measurable outcomes.
- Implement the identified plan, coordinate care delivery, and employ strategies to promote health and a safe environment.
- Delegate elements of care to appropriate healthcare workers in accordance with legal or policy parameters.
- Evaluate progress toward attainment of goals and outcomes.
- Practice in a manner congruent with cultural diversity and inclusion principles.
- Communicate effectively in all areas of practice.
- Collaborate with healthcare consumers and key stakeholders in nursing practice conduct.
- Demonstrate leadership in the professional practice setting and the nursing profession.
- Seek knowledge and competence that reflects current nursing practice and promotes futuristic thinking.
- Integrate evidence and research findings into practice.
- Contribute to quality nursing practice.
- Evaluate one's own and others' nursing practice against professional practice standards and guidelines, relevant statutes, rules, and regulations.

- Promote shared governance or facility decision-making activities, developing and nurturing research to positively affect clinical outcomes and promotion.
**Physical Requirements:** Must be able to walk, stand, sit, lift, reach, stoop, bend, push, and pull. Must be capable of lifting and supporting 35 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies. Finger dexterity, critical thinking, and ability to concentrate are required. Must be able to respond quickly to changes in patient and/or unit conditions.
