Experience: Two years of acute care experience within the last three years. Chemo and/or Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) experience required.
License: Must have nursing license or compact license from the permanent address state
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association, Chemotherapy certification required, Basic Arrhythmia experience
Must-Have: Completion of required telemetry test prior to start

Job Description:

- Join a team of compassionate and dedicated nurses in a 41-bed hematology, oncology, stem cell transplant, and palliative care inpatient unit.
- Provide care for acutely ill patients, including those undergoing bone marrow and stem cell transplants, CAR T-cell therapy, and end-of-life care.
- Care for patients with complex disease processes such as leukemia, lymphoma, solid tumor cancers, and complications including Graft-Versus-Host Disease.
- Administer chemotherapy, assist with stem cell transplant procedures, conduct bone marrow biopsies, administer blood products, access central lines and ports, and perform comprehensive patient assessments.
- Participate in cutting-edge, evidence-based therapies and research studies aimed at improving patient outcomes.
- Take part in quality improvement initiatives and lead practice changes.
- Receive formal education in hematologic malignancies, oncologic emergencies, stem cell transplant, palliative care, and chemotherapy certification.
- Be involved in a supportive team environment with a focus on collaboration and patient-centered care.

Please note that weekend rotations and some holidays are part of the job requirements.
