**Job Title:** Registered Nurse - NICU Charge

**Job Specialty:** Level 3 or 4 NICU

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks

**Shift:** Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified

**Experience:** Minimum 1 year of Level 3 or 4 NICU experience, NICU Charge RN experience, Delivery/Resuscitation experience

**License:** OR license required; can submit with it pending

**Certifications:** EPIC charting experience required

**Must-Have:**

- Ability to work night shifts
- Experience in a Level 3 or 4 NICU setting
- Charge RN experience in NICU
- Delivery and resuscitation experience
- Flexibility for potential 1-3 shifts as charge per week

**Job Description:**

- Function as a Charge Nurse for Level 3 or 4 NICU
- Ensure nursing care meets regulatory and safety standards
- Coordinate with medical staff and other departments
- Responsible for staffing and schedule management within the unit
- Provide delivery and resuscitation support as needed
- Facilitate a variable and rotating weekend schedule
- Be available for on-call duty
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC

**Additional Details:**

- Orientation includes 40 hours
- Completion of non-billable modules required prior to start and annually
- Required to float within hospital or nearby facilities as needed
