Job Description:
- Department: Outpatient Dialysis
- Unit: Dialysis RN
- Common diagnosis/types of patients: Adult to geriatric patients with a mixture of catheters and fistulas
- Nurse: Patient Ratios: 1:3-4
- Equipment: Fersenius 2008T
- EMR: Clarity
- Shifts & Scheduling: Varied shifts, rotating weekends
- Weekend Requirement: Rotating weekends, every other holiday
- Charting System: Meditech
- Attributes for success: Teamwork, motivation, compassionate care, patient safety, infection control awareness
Orientation requirements: 12 hours with another RN on the floor, dependent on experience
Additional Notes: ER and Code team available for sudden status changes, team scheduling for optimal coverage
Special Requirements: Candidates may not be employed as full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, RTO needed upfront
Cancellation Policy: 3 shifts per contract
Shift Notes: Variable Days/Eves - M/W/F 5a-5:30p OR 9a-10p, Tu/Th/S 5a-5:30p, 5a-1:30p, 9a-5:30p, shifts may vary based on census
Required Certifications: BLS
Scrubs: Any color scrubs
Unit Specific Orientation: 3 shifts of orientation with another RN, dependent on experience level.
