**Must-Have:** EPIC experience, Gunshot wound/stabbing experience

**Description:**
Department pertains to Emergency Room care.
Applicants must reside within a 100-mile radius.
Orientation will be available on scheduled dates.
Candidates must have experience with EMR systems in previous roles.
All requested time off must be included at submission.
Applicants should provide accurate and detailed resume information.
Resumes must include job duties, hospital and unit size, and trauma level.
Gap in employment should be explained in the resume.
Certifications should be current and accurate.
Facility handles Level 3 trauma, STEMI, and Stroke receiving.
Stroke interventions may require patient transfer.
There are 52 beds with 4 trauma bays in the ER.
The ER features 6 fast track beds for swift patient assessment.
Quick look triage is implemented with 2 designated areas.
ER holds are intermixed within the department.
No seclusion rooms for psychiatric care are available.
Security is provided in-house 24/7 with close proximity to the lobby.
The ER caters to an average of 200 patients daily.
Patient ratios stand at 1:5 for medical and 1:6 for fast track.
Common emergencies include a variety of urgent medical needs.
Staff should be familiar with ICU drips for critical patient holds.
Emergency Room is staffed with physicians and mid-level practitioners.
Charge nurses are not present during shifts; assistance is available from the house supervisor.
ED techs with more than 2 years of experience handle EKG, vitals, and blood draws.
PCA roles require less than 2 years of experience, with similar responsibilities as ED techs.
Respiratory therapy (RT) is managed in-house with assigned therapists.
Facilities are equipped with a Glidescope, Hamilton, and Phillips ventilators.
RN personnel are expected to read telemetry; monitor techs provide additional support.
Dedicated CT and X-Ray are stationed in the ER with a transport team on hand.
Lab draws are managed by ED techs or RNs via IV starts.
Shifts have varied start times, allowing modified self-scheduling.
Weekend work is required with 4 shifts per 4-week block.
Applicants should be prepared to work holidays, typically 2 out of 5.
Floating to nearby ER facilities is rare but scheduled in advance.
Scrub color standard is Navy Blue.
The department requires one day of clinical/EPIC orientation in addition to on-the-floor experience.
