**Shift:** 7A-5P, 10-day shifts

**Guaranteed Hours:** 40 hours per week

**Experience:** Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred; neuro and vascular experience preferred but not required.

**License:** Registered Nurse License

**Certifications:**
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) for RNs
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for Surgical Techs preferred but not required

**Must-Have:**
- Experience with a variety of case types, specifically those mentioned below
- Experience with Cerner EMR
- Comfortability to wear lead

**Job Description:**

- Participate in required manager interview process
- Perform various surgical procedures covering all age groups from Pediatrics to Adults across 26 service lines
- Gain valuable experience in heavily ENT, General, and Orthopedic pediatric cases, with opportunities for complex Neuro cases subject to approval
- Handle trauma and general surgeries, including open bellies, bowel, gallbladder, appendix, hernia, and more
- Engage in Vascular surgeries such as open and endovascular procedures, including carotid and fem-pop, endovascular aortic aneurysm repair, stenting, and TCARs if preferred
- Conduct Urology and ENT cases, GYN surgeries, and a wide range of Ortho and Ortho Trauma procedures
- Assist in Robotics surgeries; prior training with Davinci XI is a bonus
- Participate in Ophthalmology, Thoracic, Max Facial, and Dental procedures
- Respond to about 60 cases performed per day on average
- Be part of a supportive team including Supervisors, Assistant Managers, Team Leads, CRNAs, Anesthesiologists, Anesthesia Techs, Orderlies, Equipment Reps, Charge RNs, and OR Educators
- Commitment to a response time of 30 minutes required during call shifts, with no sleep room available
- Participate in a call schedule: 2-3 call shifts per 4-week schedule cycle, with day shift staff possibly covering for overnight calls

- Orientation provided: 2 days with Preceptor
- Flexible scheduling with 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts depending on requisition
- Weekend rotation: 1 weekend day per 4-week schedule required; night shift staff may work additional weekend days

- Ensure adherence to holiday expectations with minimal impact but subject to scheduling demands
- Scrub colors: surgical scrubs provided
