**Job Description:**

- Perform radiographic procedures to obtain desired results according to physician specifications.
- Transfer patients for examinations and assist with the X-ray examination process.
- Operate all X-ray imaging and related equipment appropriately.
- Educate, position, and immobilize patients for X-ray procedures.
- Coordinate X-ray examinations to ensure timeliness, quality, and continuity of patient care.
- Understand and follow provider imaging orders accurately.
- Submit images and related clinical information to the radiologist for interpretation.
- Evaluate image quality appropriately.
- Maintain open, accurate, and responsive communication with patients, coworkers, radiologists, and leadership.
- Utilize, charge, and maintain department supplies as needed.
- Practice sterile techniques and follow infection prevention policies.
- Handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Safely perform X-ray procedures, including patient transfers.
- Prepare and administer contrast according to radiologist protocol.
- Follow radiation safety measures (ALARA) to ensure patient and staff safety.
- Supervise and evaluate student radiographers in the clinical setting.
