Job Specialty: Operating Room
Job Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (06:30 - 19:00)
Guaranteed Hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. Called-off hours can be broken down to add up to 1 shift.
Experience: 2 years strongly preferred
License: SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license
Certifications: BLS, Radiation Badge (provided by agency)
Must-Have: Scrub experience strongly preferred
Job Description:
- Work 3x12-hour shifts during days, from 6:30 am to 7:00 pm.
- On-call required up to 4 shifts every 4 weeks.
- Work up to one weekend shift every 4 weeks.
- Must be willing to work during one of the holiday periods including Christmas or New Year.
- Float within scope to meet facility needs and may rotate between like units or sister facilities.
- Work in a Level I trauma and academic center with 21 operating suites covering all surgical specialties including Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics.
- Work in a nurse-driven, Magnet-designated department that provides cutting-edge technology.
- Be available during hurricane season, as all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams from June through November.
- Complete required modules before the start, included in non-billable orientation hours.
Note: Flu vaccine is required; exemptions are allowed for medical or religious reasons. COVID-19 vaccine is not required.
