**License:** Washington license required (Active or in process)

**Certifications:** ACLS, BCLS, NIH

**Must-Have:**
- Experience in telemetry with strong focus on open heart surgery
- Proficiency in EPIC documentation system
- Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias

**Job Description:**

- Care for patients in a Surgical Cardiac Telemetry Unit, including myocardial infarction, primary arrhythmias, and post-surgery patients
- Perform special procedures like breathing treatments, chest tube care, blood product administration, and tele interpretation
- Manage patients with special cardiac conditions and procedures, such as open heart post-op care and LVAD/Impella management
- Utilize skills in telemetry, cardiac monitoring, and emergency response
- Administer and manage medications, including heparin protocols and cardiac drips
- Perform IV therapy, phlebotomy, and surgical drain management
- Potential floating to other units within scope of practice as required
- Maintain professional communication using SBAR standards
- Participate in orientation and meet competency standards

**Additional Information:**

- Candidates must have at least one year of references over the last three years on file before clearance
- Floating to campuses within a 40-mile radius may be required
