**Job Description:**
- Contribute professional nursing knowledge and skills in patient care management through the nursing process.
- Promote evidence-based practice through protocols and procedures.
- Assess patient's status via interview, observation, and physical assessment.
- Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with patient/family and healthcare team.
- Use interventions to achieve expected patient outcomes and evaluate progress.
- Complete required documentation, including patient charts and event reports.
- Demonstrate professional accountability self-development.
- Maintain knowledge and skills in evidence-based nursing practice.
- Promote professional development of self and team members.
- Share clinical knowledge and assess/choose teaching strategies for specific patient/family needs.
- Analyze clinical situations, act to correct problems, and collaborate with team.
- Use communication and teamwork strategies to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Prioritize work based on patient condition, changes in assignment, and interruptions.
- Provide goal-focused shift reports and advocate on patient's behalf when necessary.
This position requires an ability to project a professional, friendly, and helpful demeanor, comfort with Windows OS, and a responsibility to return unit keys after completion of the assignment.
