Job Summary

Responsible for participating as an technical expert in project teams, troubleshooting operational issues, providing technical solutions to operational problems, contributing to new products implementation, implementing existing products and services and providing the overall upkeep and maintenance of designated areas of engineering. Interfaces with vendors, Engineering and peer operations organizations. Acts in compliance with industry and Company technical requirements, standards, policies and procedures. Provides technical leadership to junior Engineers and project teams. Integrates knowledge of business and functional priorities. Acts as a key contributor in a complex and crucial environment. Does not have any direct supervisory responsibilities. May direct workflow and act as a technical lead. May lead teams or projects and shares expertise.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Utilize APIs to extract data from various sources (examples ServiceNow, Jira, Smartsheet) and integrate it into our data ecosystem.
  • Design and develop robust, scalable data pipelines to process and transform data for reporting purposes.
  • Periodic maintenance of reporting infrastructure to ensure security and compliance
  • Create and maintain automated reports and dashboards using tools like [mention specific tools or platforms].
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Ensure data accuracy, reliability, and security in all reporting activities.

Employees at all levels are expected to:

  • Proven experience working with APIs to retrieve and manipulate data.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python/Java for scripting and automation.
  • Ability to work with large datasets and perform complex data analysis.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Education

Bachelor's Degree

While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
