**Job Description:**

- Perform specimen testing and analysis in a clinical laboratory setting.
- Implement and perform clinical laboratory procedures according to proper standards and regulations.
- Work a schedule that includes two major holidays from Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day, and one minor holiday from Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve.
- Conduct and successfully complete a Color-Acuity screening test.
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution, or an Associate’s degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology and certification as a Medical Technologist.
- Graduates of a Military Program in Science are also eligible if certified as Medical Technologists.
- Individuals previously qualified as technologists before February 28, 1992, must have current certification as Medical Technologists.
- Applicants must have completed or be eligible for an appropriate certification examination.

This position requires dedication and the ability to work within specified regulations to ensure accuracy and safety in specimen testing and analysis.
