This critical role provides exceptional in-hospital obstetric care, ensuring the safety and well-being of mothers and infants. Required Skills Valid medical license and Board Certification in Ob/Gyn or Family Medicine with obstetric care) Proven experience in obstetric hospitalist services or inpatient OB management Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making capabilities Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work independently and handle high-stakes situations efficiently Knowledge of current obstetric protocols and procedures Nice to Have Skills Experience working in a hospitalist or inpatient setting outside of OB/GYN Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems Bilingual abilities that enhance patient communication Preferred Education and Experience Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in obstetrics or hospital-based OB services Previous locum or temporary staffing experience is advantageous Other Requirements Must possess current medical licensure in Indiana or be eligible for licensure reciprocity Certifications: DEA, BLS, and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Ability to work weekends and flexibility for potential schedule adjustments Travel and licensure-related expenses covered when applicable This opportunity offers an attractive hourly pay rate of $214.50, along with comprehensive benefits, weekly direct deposit payments, and a supportive team committed to your success.
