**Job Title:** RN Float Pool - Full Time

**Job Specialty:** Acute - Med/Surg

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks

**Shift:** 3x12-hour shifts (Day/Night/Weekend rotation)

**Guaranteed Hours:** Full Time - 36 hours per week

**Experience:** Minimum two years of experience floating to Med-Surg, ICU, and ER

**License:** Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse

**Certifications:**
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Stroke Certification
- Coronary Care within 6 months of hire
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification within 90 days of hire

**Must-Have:**
- Ability to float between Critical Care, Med-Surg, and Telemetry units
- Proficiency in handling confidential information with discretion
- Professional and courteous interaction with people
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Computer literacy, experience with Microsoft Office products, and electronic medical records

**Job Description:**
- RNs will work 12-hour shifts from 7 AM - 7 PM or 7 PM - 7 AM.
- Candidates should be comfortable floating to various units, including ICU, ER, Med-Surg, and MST.
- Demonstrate knowledge and skills to provide care appropriate to the patient age groups served.
- Applicants must possess the ability to assess data reflective of patient status and interpret information to identify each patient's requirements.
- Provide care needed by pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient groups.
- Enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling.
- Promote and ensure safety, dignity, respect, well-being, and exemplify healthy relationships in accordance with Healing Environment principles.
- Certification by the Emergency Nurses Association and TNCC certification is recommended within two years of hire.
