**Job Description:**

- Provide support to the anesthesia department by preparing medications, stocking, ordering, cleaning, and maintaining equipment, as well as stocking supplies.
- Monitor quality control and operation of anesthesia-related equipment.
- Responsible for transporting patients to and from the operating room and handling routine patient care tasks.
- Organize equipment necessary for surgical cases.
- Clean, check, restock, prepare, and maintain all anesthesia equipment and supplies for each surgical case.
- Ensure anesthesia machines are available in surgical suites and add specialty equipment and supplies to suite set-ups.
- Assist in troubleshooting equipment and coordinate with the biomedical team to resolve issues.
- Collaborate with the scheduler and unit management to anticipate special needs of each anesthesiologist.
- Respond promptly to requests during surgical cases, providing assistance during emergencies, difficult intubations, and trauma cases.
- Assist in room turnover and prepare anesthesia equipment for subsequent cases.
- Restock anesthesia supplies in the sterile processing department as needed.
- Collaborate with care site staff and other departments to support anesthesia supply ordering and inventory management.
- Assist with general cleanup in perioperative services.
- Promote the mission, vision, and values of the organization and adhere to service behavior standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned, with a possibility of floating to other departments based on business needs.
- May be required to be on-call during regularly scheduled shifts.
- Understanding of medical terminology is an advantage.
- Regular attendance during scheduled business hours is required.
- Ability to work nights and/or weekends is required for this position.
