Pioneer Healthcare Services is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a skilled nursing facility in Modesto, CA for a 13 - week contract with the possibility to extend.�The ideal Therapist will have a minimum of 1 year experience in the geriatric population.�New grads are encouraged to apply.�This can be a travel or a local assignment.��
Responsibilities of a SNF Occupational Therapist: * Provides inpatient care to patients who are undergoing rehabilitation or recovering from an illness, injury, or disability * Provides rehab services to residents * Completing an assessment of each patient's needs * Work with other staff members to come up with treat plans * Focus on helping patients gain strength and skills to perform daily activities and tasks * Help patients learn to perform task using new equipment such as a cane or wheelchair * Submits all billing logs and necessary information on a timely basis
