**Job Title:** Interventional Radiology Technician

**Shift:** Day 4x10-Hour (07:30 - 18:00)

**Guaranteed Hours:** 3 shifts per 13 weeks

**Experience:** Minimum 2 years required

**License:** Valid state license or compact license required

**Certifications:** BLS, ARRT

**Must-Have:** C-Arm and contrast experience

**Job Description:**

- Perform interventional radiology procedures including central venous catheter placements/replacements, diagnostic angiograms, Y-90 mappings/treatments, gastrostomy tubes, percutaneous nephrostomy tubes, peripheral artery disease leg cases, and other vascular-related procedures.
- Handle a daily caseload of 6-8 procedures per technician.
- Occasionally required to stay past scheduled shifts once a week for pending procedures, referred to as being on Backup.
- Work every 5th or 6th Saturday from 08:00 to 16:00 as needed.
- Participate in on-call requirements with one weeknight call every one or two weeks and weekend call every 6th or 8th weekend.
- Orientation consists of 40 hours.
- Use EPIC for charting.
- Open to first-time professionals in this specialty.
- Work expectations include working every other weekend and two out of the three major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day).
