**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN)

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks

**Shift:** 12-Hour Nights

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week

**Experience:** Minimum 2 years

**License:** Required to submit

**Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

**Must-Have:** Willingness to work every third weekend, ability to self-schedule, and navy blue scrubs

**Job Description:**

- Conduct patient care in a stepdown unit specializing in Oncology, PCU, and Trauma.
- Pass/Fail exam required during orientation with 90% needed to pass.
- Experience with titrating drips such as insulin and occasionally cardizem.
- Work with a variety of respiratory therapy equipment and modern tools like Lyko lifts and Alaris IV pumps.
- Participate in hourly rounding to improve patient experience and satisfaction.
- Display a caring attitude towards patients from diverse backgrounds and respect their beliefs.
- Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team including nursing assistants, PT/OT, RN case managers, social workers, educators, and dieticians.
- Utilize the EPIC charting system to maintain accurate and timely patient records.
- Opportunity to float within the same care level to ensure broad exposure and dynamic work experience.
- Focus on teamwork and maintaining a positive work environment.
- Deliver compassionate care to oncology patients from diagnosis through remission, or provide support for end-of-life care.
