**Job Title:** Registered Nurse - PACU

**Shift:** Day

**Hours per Shift:** 10-Hour (11:00 - 21:00)

**Experience:** Experience working pre/post-operatively with varied surgical patient populations. Critical care background required. Must have completed two years of acute care experience within the last 3 years.

**License:** Must have valid nursing license or compact license from the permanent address state.

**Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certified through the American Heart Association. Basic Arrhythmia experience required.

**Must-Have:** Candidate's permanent address must be 50 miles from the assigned primary work site. First to float as a traveler. Must pass a telemetry test prior to start (not applicable for clinic positions).

**Description:** Join a top-ranked hospital known for excellence and innovation. As a PACU RN, you will be responsible for independent peri-anesthetic management of a complex and varied surgical population. Develop a therapeutic relationship by establishing trust and enabling patients and/or families to verbalize their care requirements comfortably. Travelers may have shifts scheduled across multiple units, based on staffing needs. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment. Orientation will be provided, usually spanning about one week. Flu vaccine required, with medical/religious exemptions only.
