**License:** Required Radiologic Technology certification

**Certifications:** ARRT Radiography, ARRT Computed Tomography, Basic Life Support (BLS)

**Must-Have:** Excellent communication skills, ability to work independently and in a team, proficiency in CT, patient positioning, exposure factors, and radiation protection. Understanding of anatomy and pathology as they relate to quality procedures. Competency to perform recommended Quality Control tests.

**Description:**

We are seeking a flexible and dependable CT Tech to provide safe, age-appropriate care by performing all exams according to established procedures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting a variety of technical procedures independently and must demonstrate ingenuity and initiative. Responsibilities include ensuring correct patient identification, producing clinically acceptable images, responding to emergencies, and assisting other technologists when needed.

Core responsibilities include verifying clinician orders, conducting patient assessments, explaining procedures to patients using AIDET (Acknowledge, Introduce, Discuss, Explain, and Thank), and maintaining accurate documentation. The candidate will demonstrate proficiency with venipuncture, use critical thinking skills, and ensure patient privacy and dignity throughout the exam.

Equipment handling includes adjusting techniques to minimize radiation exposure, reporting equipment malfunctions, and maintaining cleanliness according to infection control policies. The CT Tech will actively participate in departmental orientation and training, manage quality control, and ensure operational excellence by restocking supplies and maintaining department orderliness.

Our CT Tech will routinely document and send studies to PACS, complete studies in RIS, and operate and troubleshoot workstations associated with the CT department. A commitment to maintaining regulatory standards and participating in on-call duties as needed is essential. The employee will demonstrate excellent customer service skills and an ability to prioritize and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
