REQUIREMENTS:
Airborne Training, followed by a 4-week Special Operations Preparation Course and the Special Forces Assessment & Selection program
Special Forces Qualification Course
22 weeks of Infantry One Station Unit Training
110 ASVAB Score: General Technical (GT)
100 ASVAB Score: Combat (CO)
19 to 34 Years Old
High School Diploma or GED
No Law Violations
No Medical Concerns

*18X OFFERS A PATH TO CITIZENSHIP. While citizenship is a requirement for passing a secret security clearance, Lawful Permanent Residents can immediately begin 18X training. If you've had a valid Green Card (officially known as an I-551 Permanent Resident Card) for at least six months, you can apply for expedited naturalization and candidacy for the Special Forces through MOS 18X. Work with a recruiter to get started.
