- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Successful completion of a proctored rhythm test
**Must-Have:** BLS, ACLS, NIH Certification
**Job Description:**
- Work in a Cardiovascular Unit with a capacity of 36 beds.
- Serve a population that includes Cardiac and Neuro Stepdown patients.
- Perform cardiac bedside monitoring and manage cardiac drips, TR bands, and post-heart catheterizations.
- Care for stroke and neuro patients and handle BIPAP overflows.
- Provide care to patients ranging from young adults to late adults (ages 18 - 60+).
- Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6.
- Assume full responsibility for the assigned patient team.
- Work within a variable staffing grid that includes Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Patient Care Technicians (PCTs), and Nurse Interns (NIs).
