Primary Care at Sullivan Clinic and Weekend Clinic (walk-in family clinic)

Schedule/Shift Info:
Two (2) Saturday’s a month at weekend clinic, with a day off during the same week. Saturdays are 6-hour days so will need to add an additional ½ hour each of the other 4 days when working a Saturday. Your total hours scheduled each week is 36 hours, allowing for 4 hours per week of administrative time. Shift time during the week is 9a-5p or 10a-6p.
Weekend Clinic is patients of all ages, peds expereince preferred.

Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital is a designated critical access hospital committed to providing quality health care service to residents in Crawford, Franklin and Washington counties.

The hospital has enhanced and expanded the health care services available to the greater Sullivan community with its state-of-the-art emergency department, modern childbirth center, critical care unit, multiroom surgical suite, expanded cardiac rehab services, and a cancer center. A 22,500 square-foot medical office building provides offices for primary care physicians as well as space for a variety of visiting medical and surgical specialists from the St. Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital operates four rural health clinics providing quality health care to surrounding communities. In addition, the hospital operates a comprehensive Therapy and Rehabilitation department and an award-winning Wound Care Center with two hyperbaric chambers.

The Sullivan medical clinic is a well-established, multi-discipline physician group providing family, internal and OB care.

The Nurse Practitioner (Primary Care) utilizes a high degree of knowledge, skill, and competence to deliver patient care in a primary care clinic setting. This position assesses, diagnoses, and initiates a patient care treatment plan within the scope of a formal collaborative practice agreement with a primary care physician. In this role, patient care is performed with considerable independence, guided by physician-approved protocols, and evaluated through chart review, consultations, and the observation of results under the general medical direction of an Internal Medicine/Family Medicine physician.

Manages the health care of patient populations with compassion through advanced health assessment, diagnosis, intervention, and evaluation in a collaborative practice agreement with a physician. Coordinates the care of patient populations, in a collaborative practice agreement with a physician, to ensure promotion of health and wellness through education of patients and families, coordination of services and placing referrals.
Assesses development needs of staff and develops and delivers appropriate educational programs to meet staff needs.
