**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN)

**Job Specialty:** ICU Resource Team

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks

**Shift:** Day/Night Rotating

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week

**Experience:** 2 years of recent ICU experience in a hospital with over 200 beds and level 1 trauma

**License:** ND or compact state RN License

**Certifications:** BLS (AHA required), ACLS (AHA required), NIHSS

**Must-Have:**
- Experience titrating vasopressor drips
- EPIC experience

**Job Description:**

- Manage 1-3 critically ill patients across various patient populations, including neuro, cardiac, CT surgery, trauma, medical, and surgical patients.
- Independently care for critically ill patients.
- Manage vasopressors, sedatives, analgesics, inotropics, antiarrhythmics, and other titratable drips.
- Assist with bedside procedures such as RSI, EVD placement, tracheostomy, line placement, and other diagnostic tests.
- Utilize equipment including Omnicell Automated Dispensing Cabinets, Aleris IV pumps, MOOG feeding pumps, IABP, EVD, Phillips Patient Monitoring Systems, and Impella.
- Rotate day/night shifts, including 8, 12, and occasional 4-hour shifts. Work every other weekend and holiday.
- Float to all critical care departments, and may float to med-surg units if needed.
- Adhere to a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2.
- Wear navy scrubs.
- Participate in a total of 32 hours of orientation, covering hospital orientation, unit-specific training, and ICU specifics.
