**Job Title:** IT Contract Specialist

**Job Specialty:** Contract Management

**Job Duration:** 64 weeks

**Shift:** 8a-5p, Monday to Friday, Remote Position (on-site meetings as needed)

**Guaranteed Hours:** 40 hours per week

**Experience:** Must have 2-3 years of experience in contract reviewing and negotiation

**License:** None required

**Certifications:** None required

**Must-Have:**
- Knowledge of medical and technical acronyms
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or Supply Chain Management

**Job Description:**

- Support the development, negotiation, renewal, maintenance, and compliance of IT contracts using established standard terms, conditions, and templates.
- Collaborate closely with IT leaders, business stakeholders, and legal counsel to execute contracts and assess contractual performance.
- Ensure all IT contracting and procurement activities align with company policy.
- Provide guidance and support to contract specialists and junior contract specialists regarding policies and procedures.
- Monitor and track contractual actions and deadlines.
- Analyze and develop strategies for IT contract negotiations.
- Participate in the development of standards for IT contracts, including Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of IT contract text and attachments.
- Communicate with business partners and internal stakeholders about IT contractual issues.
- Provide monthly and annual IT contractual activity and metrics reports to IT leadership.
- Advise on IT contract requirements, obligations, and risk exposure to IT leaders.
- Review, analyze, and negotiate IT contracts to ensure compliance with corporate policies and project requirements.
- Negotiate directly with suppliers during contract preparation, evaluation, and execution.
- Assist in audits of IT contracts.
- Work with legal counsel to identify appropriate contract types to minimize company risk.
- Identify and recommend process improvements for IT contracting.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with peers, stakeholders, and suppliers.
- Map contracts for applications used by the organization and make necessary amendments and negotiations.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
