**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN)

**Job Specialty:** Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks

**Shift:** 12-hour nights

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week

**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years

**License:** Required

**Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

**Must-Have:**
- Ability to titrate drips
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting telemetry strips

**Job Description:**
- Provide care in a fast-paced, high-acuity ICU setting with 34 beds
- Work with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:1-2 in ICU and 1:4 in PCU
- Care for patients aged 15 and older with varying medical conditions, including respiratory failure, sepsis, stroke, and more
- Administer care involving neuro surgeries and cancer-specific surgeries (training provided)
- Utilize equipment such as Zoll Thermoguard, Bell Mont rapid transfuser, CVPs, A-lines, Swans, EV-1000, ICP monitoring, and ventilators
- Work under the guidance and collaboration of attending physicians and student providers (fellows, residents)
- Participate in RRTs and Codes with a charge nurse present each shift
- Contribute to a team-oriented environment focusing on high-quality patient care
- Float to all inpatient units, except for Maternity/NICU
- Comply with a dress code of navy blue scrubs
- Engage in 12 hours of orientation and adhere to every other weekend and holiday scheduling requirements
- Utilize the EPIC charting system in a Level 1 Trauma Center
