Pioneer Healthcare Services is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant in Davis, CA for a 13 - week contract with the possibility to extend. The ideal Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant will have a minimum of 1 year experience. New grads are encouraged to apply. This can be a travel or a local assignment.
Responsibilities of a Skilled Nursing Facility Physical Therapy Assistant: Promotes and maintains health by providing physical therapy services under the supervision of a physical therapist Contributes to a physical therapist*s effectiveness by identifying patient care issues Assesses patient health and administers treatment programs for patients Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records Helps patients in using supportive devices, such as crutches, canes, and prostheses Instructs and counsels patients by describing therapeutic regimens, giving normal growth and development information, and promoting wellness and health maintenance Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading periodicals, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations 13 week assignment Submit all billing logs and necessary information on a timely basis New grads and experienced therapists are encouraged to apply - We will support you through this transition
