**Job Title:** Registered Nurse

**Job Specialty:** Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

**Job Duration:** 13 Weeks

**Shift:** Variable 12-Hour Shifts: Night (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) and Day (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 Hours Per Week

**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years required

**License:** Valid State License required

**Certifications:**
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Preferred: National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)

**Must-Have:**
- EOW (Every Other Weekend)
- EOH (Every Other Holiday; only possible during scheduled shift if low census occurs)
- Flexibility to float within hospital units as needed
- Completion of Background Check and Lab/Drug Screening promptly

**Job Description:**

- Provide high-quality care to patients in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) and other ICU areas.
- Perform patient assessments, develop and implement nursing care plans.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- Document patient status and interventions accurately in the electronic health record.
- Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills in patient care situations.
- Adapt to varying shifts and patient care needs as required by the unit.
- Attend orientation and complete assigned modules during this time.
- Maintain up-to-date certifications and continuous education relevant to ICU nursing.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and safety standards.
