**Job Description:**
- Floating required as needed within the Metro Region across multiple hospitals.
- Assist with pediatrics and Peds ER; no specific Pediatric hospital experience required.
- Experience in changing tubing and bags for invasive lines/arterial lines preferred.
- Provide care in environments that include seven adult ICUs (16 beds each) and both pediatric and adult acute care settings.
- Treat and educate all patient populations with diagnoses like asthma, COPD, emphysema, and pneumonia.
- Perform critical care tasks including medication delivery, bronchopulmonary hygiene, hyperinflation therapy, ventilation management, and airway management.
- Respond to rapid responses and emergency codes, perform CPR, and conduct blood gas sampling and analysis.
- Conduct care of the patient with bronchoscopy procedures.
- Administer medication through various systems including nebulizers and inhalers.
- Manage ventilator systems including BiPAP, CPAP, and mechanical ventilation weaning.
- Assist in high-risk deliveries and basic pediatric respiratory therapy care.
- Complete a basic Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam if required in specific units.
- Participate in orientation and complete necessary training modules.
