Performs Nuclear Medicine examinations, with protocols as outlined by the Radiologist and Cardiologist. Operates nuclear medicine equipment, and prepares room with the necessary equipment and supplies for the procedure. Other duties include, but are not limited to, clerical, scheduling, transporting, ordering supplies, inventory, cleaning, and anything deemed necessary by the medical imaging management team.

What qualifications you will need:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine.
  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Tech through the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board OR Registered Nuclear Medicine Tech through the the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist
  • Registered Radiographer or Nuclear Medicine Tech through the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association Required
  • 3 years as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist preferred.
