Assignment Overview Location: Overland Park, KS Setting: Outpatient Urgent Care Contract Type: Locum Tenens Schedule: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM (7 days/week; flexible scheduling) Start Date: ASAP – ongoing Patient Population: All ages Daily Volume: ~4–5 patients/hour Support Services: On-site lab & digital X-ray EMR: Proprietary, AI-enhanced system designed for clinician efficiency Clinical Responsibilities Urgent Care APP will provide: Evaluation, diagnosis & treatment across the full spectrum of UC conditions Ordering & interpreting X-rays, labs, EKGs Performing procedures including: Laceration repair Incision & drainage Splinting Wound care Triage & manage walk-in patients efficiently Ensure accurate & timely documentation in a streamlined EMR Collaborate with a nationwide network of peers for real-time clinical support Candidate Requirements Active & unrestricted Kansas NP or PA license Active DEA BLS and/or ACLS required DOT certification (or willingness to obtain — clinic provides pathway & reimbursement) Minimum 1 year Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience Must be comfortable seeing all ages Strong procedural skills Why Providers Love This Assignment Consistent, ongoing scheduling opportunities Efficient clinic operations with advanced technology that reduces charting time Access to national clinical support (even while working independently on site) Culture focused on growth, collaboration & innovation Apply Today If you're an experienced APP ready for a dynamic urgent care environment with unmatched workflow support, this is your next assignment.
