Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15)

Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required

License: RN license required

Certifications: AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP

Must-Have: NICU experience preferred, ability to care for labor and postpartum patients, experience with Level II nursery care

Job Description:

- Admit and care for labor patients
- Provide care for mother-baby couplets
- Experience with Level II nursery care required
- ACLS certification preferred
- Attend deliveries as a baby nurse and provide necessary resuscitation and stabilization
- Manage 3 couplets for a total of 6 patients
- Triage 1-2 labor patients
- Ability to manage labor patients with hypertension and insulin-dependent diabetics
- Ability to float to Nursery, Postpartum, and Med Surg units when census is low
- Weekend requirement: every third weekend, 4 weekend shifts per contract
- Scrubs: Navy Blue
- Orientation: 72 hours
- Special equipment: Omnicell, Cerner, Powerchart, Powerchart Maternity
- Unit systems: Cerner experience highly preferred
- Compliance with COVID-19 and flu vaccine requirements
- Must have two direct supervisor references in the specialty
- No onsite work without completing a fit test
- Cerner experience highly preferred
