**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN)

**Job Duration:** 13 Weeks

**Shift:** 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 Hours per Week

**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years in Emergency Department; Previous travel experience of at least 3 months required; Experience in rural/small facility required

**License:** New Hampshire Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate

**Certifications:** ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), BLS (AHA); TNCC highly preferred

**Must-Have:** Traveler must have their own vehicle, willingness to work specified holiday periods, and the ability to adhere to schedule without requesting modifications

**Job Description:**

- Work alongside a medical team including physicians, nurses, and paramedics who are specially trained in emergency medicine.
- Treat a wide range of medical emergencies, from broken bones and cuts to extensive trauma, including burn injuries, heart attacks, injuries from accidents, poisonings, and violence-related injuries.
- Prioritize care for patients who are in the most critical state.
- Utilize modern amenities available in the emergency department, such as noise-buffering sliding glass doors, privacy curtains, flat-screen TVs, and family seating.
- Operate within a department that includes triage rooms, treatment rooms, trauma rooms, dedicated pediatric and psyche rooms, and consultation rooms.
- Be adaptable and ready to respond to emergency situations, including handling hazardous contaminations.
- Be willing to work every other weekend and participate in holiday rotations as required (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s).
- Submission must include validation of time off requests up to a maximum of 5 days; unapproved requests post submission are not permissible.
- Travelers will not be considered if residing within 50 miles of the facility.
